I have a gulf coast o-1 bypass filter,- my question for everyone is , what is the best type(brand or model- part number) of paper towels to use in this unit, i have used the commercial type that you find in restroom at gas staitions or resterants, the problem with these is that there not long enough to fill the canister, i have to put one roll in , and cut another roll down with a razor to fill it to measure the same distance, they in my opinion are a lot more dense than the one's you find at the supermarket, i spent a couple of hours today looking at the different types of brand in the grocery store and the sparkle brand had the most square footage per roll , any info would help.

On an Gulf Coast, the big roll of Bounty seems to work best. Gulf Coast now has an insert for their filter. It is a mesh covered PT with the end caps and sells for about $13 each. Probably less in bulk. This is one of the reasons alot of people are converting to the Motor Guard or the Frantz TP filter. In fact on my PSD I am converting it to 2 TP filters hooked up in parallel. To hot to do it right now. Maybe this fall.

If you want I can email you some good pictures of the element that Gulf Coast sells. I don't want to clutter your email inbox without permission.
