The name of the seat coverings seemed to be a bit weird for a F-450 "Quilted French stitched Truffle leather".

Sounds like a French chocolate. All it amounts to is Ford's version of a style of stitching that's become popular with other brands. Good pics of what is being offered. Anything to squeeze 100k out of ya.

Actually from pics I was thinking that about the Escalade V. And I am a GM fanboy…

I think the platinum and V are the ones that get good leather. The premium lux gets junk and the base gets none.

Some fancy named vinyl. As long as Cadillac doesn't offer something cloth even if it's just fancy sounding vinyl the luxury appeal stands above Chevy and gmc even though cloth seats are usually more comfortable at least for me

Most vehicles today are not 100% leather. If you move in to ultra luxury brands you get 100% leather. I mean what do you expect for $100,000? (JK!)

They are not. As stated-it's a blend-most of the time.

I know, I had to change out "leather" seat covers all the time when I was a tech. the Alfa romeo's had real leather at the time, but not the hyundai and equivalent.
