Yeah Chinese tea can be loaded. Daughter and I were designing a green tea facial mud pack. Had to not use the Chinese tea because the lead was off the scale. We thought it was the mud!

Lemon in tea = yuckie (same with lemon in beer)

I ordered from these guys and got my authentic Japanese green tea shipped to me and it is delicious. I ordered the Sencha listed on there website.

Customer service was excellent, and shipping was very fast!

1) Sent it to a lab (seriously). I can't remember the ppm, but it was HIGH.

2) Just another business venture. This one was funny, though. My green tea mudpack feels really good and makes the skin really nice. First time I used our very first iteration (on my inner arm), dyed my skin purple! Yikes!!

I thought you were kidding... That is interesting.

The prices from Silk Road Tea are the best I can find so far up here and the tea is very fresh and like no other quality tea I have seen before.

for coffee and tea, our favorite is www.communitytea.com from Louisiana. it is the smoothest tea for iced tea, we brew a jug almost every day in the summer. lipton can't compare.
as for chinese tea, my engineer at work is chinese, and I saw him in the break room getting coffee (and the coffee at work is pretty chrappy). I sad, don't you drink tea,? he said, yes, at home, but the tea in the US is 'not good tea'.
occasionally we will go to a local Vietnamese shop downtown for tea. they have a chinese gunpowder tea which is pretty strong.

See I wouldent steer you wrong! I love their tea and I'm going to order more. I just got in from a flight from Maui and its 2 AM here but I had to get my BITOG fix to see what I missed the last week! My wifes yelling at me so I'll have to message you later steve but I'm glad that you like it!

Picked up Sencha Macha Green Tea today from Wegmans. We have a local Tea House a friend of mine told me about that is supposedly excellent.

The key with Green Tea is not to let it brew for more than 1.5 minutes. Another thing they recently have discovered is adding lemon to tea will activate a lot of the good AO's found in the tea. I put a bit of lemon into it. So far this Sencha Macha from Wegmans is very good. Having it now. Ingredients are from Japan.

Yeah,

I boil the water, but don't pour it in the cup until the kettle has sat 2 minutes unplugged then I pour it in, dip the wire-mesh ball with tea leaves in the cup for 1 minute 15 seconds (found this is the best for me)

Then I pull it out and add a touch of lemon.

Delicious!

You really don't want the water that hot for green tea, no boiling!

I boil it and let it sit so it cools to the temperature just before boiling then pour it in. Says to do this on most green tea websites.
