How about something from "Houses of the Holy".

How about Iron Maidens "Number Of The Beast"

A few come to mind:
Full throttle of a Lamborghini or Ferrari
A crotch rocket with a nice exhaust
Acura Integra Type-R

I generally just love the sound of high RPMs...

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who does that....

My father used to work on them, went to work for one company just so he could get more of them.My uncle had a TS3 stock truck - the engine was 202cu in,can you imagine an HQ Holden pulling a truck and trailer with 3 decks of sheep? They were an interesting motor to see the insides of too,big rockers on the sides.I got to work on some, but they were fading away by the time I was working on trucks.

Silk, they sound pretty weird.

ZigZag Railway bought some rail motors from the QLD govt, and they have that engine.

The Rail engines may have been Deltic's

Would sound best since H started playing in Drop D.

Pick the Rock In Rio version personally...

Hey, Sign of the Cross would do it.

The summer wind blowing the tall grass of the Great Plains.
The distant echo of a raven high up in the Cascade range.
The early morning stirrings of the Central Oregon High Desert.
My dog barking inside the house as I return home from work.
Any WW2 fighter aircraft at high speed, low level pass.

Too many to list.

A train horn off in the distance.

50's and 60's rock and roll music playing through hundreds of speakers at a drive-in theater, echoing throughout the lot.

The organ at Wrigley Field.

An Oldsmobile V8. I could distinguish the sound of an Olds V8 from other V8's at the age of 5.

A field full of crickets at night.

Wasnt that a 780 or a 735? I owned a '69 Fairlane 500 428 CJ in the early eighties. Only 700 bucks with 70K miles on the clock no rust. Whats that worth now? my '67 Chevelle SS 396 was a tougher car though ...
