it's a dog-eat-mantis world.
there is a local oaxachan regional mexican restaurant that features an appetizer called "chapulines;" it is sauteed grasshoppers with garlic, lime and salt; it is especially good with a shot of earthy mezcal; you can't get a table on saturday night; all of the local mantises flock there.
Great pic's. Praying Mantis's are a very cool bug...my favorite.
