I have 300 qts of various oil. Castrol Syntec& Blend, Mobil 5w-30 and 0-40. Quaker State 10w-30. And even some old Pennzoil synthetic, that isn't the new stuff. Is the old Pennsoil any good? Plus I have a coupon for 5 more qts of shell I'll be picking up today at 99 cents a quart

I had some time to kill tonite so I created a little excel sheet with our entries. It shows the total to be 14400.5 qts with 41 qualifiers for the 'Gold Club' (100+ qts)... of course johnny is the king with 690! I would attach the xls if I knew how. BTW, Some had more than one entry so they have multiple line entries.

New correction: now 55 quarts of GC (up from 35 since GC resurfaced at AZ, so plus 20) plus 9 quarts MC 5w-20 and I used 4.5 mobil 1 for a change (down to 18 quarts M1 from 22.5) for a net gain of 24.5 more quarts. So, grand total looks like: 14400.5 + 83 (from ourfamo4) + 24.5 (my net gain) for a total of 14508. I gotta buy more.

I just bought an additional 6 qts of Valvoline SAE 30 wt. plus 6 qts. of Chevron Supreme SAE 30 wt. I think G-Man has convinced me to try it! I'll probably wait till spring though when I won't worry so much about cold starts

What we need is a running BITOG member grand totol combined oil stash indicator on the opening page of this site that displays a total based on each members input to a line item in their profile. Members merely modify that line item when they purchase, sell, or use oil.

Also, could have the stash total for each member displayed by their name in each post, which would be a reminder/incentive to keep the number current.

What say? Should we make the case with one of the moderators? Or does this need to go to the site owner?
