grabbed 2 qts of Redline...

I was in the local AAP today, and they have RL oil on clearence for $5.95...
I suddenly had the urge to have some, and although I don't know what to do with it, grabbed 2 qts of the RL 10/40...

I've heard of people using a qt or two of RL as an additive...I might use this as a top-off oil during summer to the existing MC 10/30+10/40 brew...

I bought a number of quarts. I also plan on using a half or a quart for an oil change.

I kind of like the half quart because it keeps the cost reasonable per OCI, give you a decent slug of ester (presumably 50% or 8 oz), and should not overpower your main oil's additive package, but just supplement it. I have two vehicles now running a mix of NAPA Synthetic (bought on sale for $2.65 a quart) with about half a quart Redline.
