If I may humbly suggest one thing, I would ask that people consider these cars are different; you learn to think different.
We are used to gassing up, as it only takes minutes. My Tesla is quite the opposite.
EV refueling strategy is different, especially while on the road. Think point-to-point vs "fill 'er up".
Why wait 1 to 2 hours when 10-20 minutes will get you to your destination where you can recharge while not needing the car?
Perfect? Heck no. But maybe yes and no?
Perhaps go back your your youth when you only had enough scratch to get home and you needed gas...
Or you are on the runout and only expensive gas is nearby... Dump in a gallon or 2 and drive to the cheapie station.
Same difference.
