Figured only here it would be appreciated.

Got 4 for my 4 little Toyotas...2 for the wifes Fit and 2 for my Highlander. I labeled them for quick grab when the time comes.

Was running FUGs for all (HL got FTG) but seems like these are the better bargain.

Initial impressions they look great, plus the littles fit my filter cup which in one particular fitment is nice

Cool!

I bought a bunch of Champ XLs for my 2022 Nissan Frontier's VQ38DD. I'll cut one open and post pics on my next oil change.

I was impressed with the basic Champs I've run in the past for my other vehicles, so I figured if they added XL, it can only be better.

I'm kidding.

What color is the ADBV on these?

Where are they made?

Albion, Illinois

@malibuguy79 My 2022 Nissan Frontier uses the PH2867XL as well. On the batch of XLs I have, the ADBV is black and the filters are an E-core. Perhaps not all that "XL" of a filter after all. Here's pics I just took.. As we can see, every part # for Champ XL filters are constructed differently and even this specific part number is different than it was less than a year ago (thanks for the links above). Black ADBV vs an orange one.

To be fair, I only opened one of the little ones. I will look at them all when I am in the shop again monday and update what I see.

Oh no sweat!

What I was getting at is, it get's so confusing because the construction across the part numbers for a specific model of oil filter is all over the place and changes constantly.

I know I'll get all excited (LOL) over a youtube video or someone's post here, then the filter for your make/model vehicle is totally different, even though it's the same make/model filter.
