Got water intrusion?

Had the truck out in the rain the other day. Poking around shaking the mats off...the carpet felt damp. You know how that goes removing trim, carpet and sound deadener. Soaked from cab rear to both floor wells. Towel dried what I could in the floor wells and set the truck in the garage with the mini split set to "dry" and a powerful fan clamped in the jawhorse. Windshield is not original and seriously don't think it is the source as it is wet back to front. Or is it front to back? Did find these two holes in the cab rear though......"pressure equalization valves". Hopefully it is a $50 fix. It is a 2008 Silverado that resided in AZ most of it's life.

More likely door seals or the third brake light.

There's supposed to be rubber "flaps" on the part in the pic to keep water out. Looks like they're missing?

Yes, I would look at possible source at cab rear window or third brake light.

You need to know where it is coming from before anything else. Can be hard. May need to spend a lot of time with a hose and flashlight… good luck!

Hence the term "valve". They are all missing and the surrounding gasket(s)are/is no longer pliable.
