Does anyone have the ISO 4548-12 results from them handy?

Their additional benefits and my 2 cents...

Change your filter every 10,000 miles, change your oil every 30,000 miles
Save time, money, and the environment

Use any brand of oil
Premium built filter with dual stage filtration
Customizable maintenance schedules to fit your needs
Free shipping to U.S.

A bypass filter is quicker, easier and cleaner to replace in my experience. Is the small amount of oil that is added every 10k to make up for the oil removed with the old filter enough to replenish the additive package? I would also like to know how long the "microfilter" is good for, it seems pretty small.

Use any brand of oil, you would think they would ask you to choose a higher quality oil to protect themselves especially if theyre the ones saying itll go 30k. Dollar general and gas stations sell oil... Like Garak said, a formal marketing arrangement would be beneficial. But since theyre from China, it might make this more difficult.

Every picture I see makes the filter look cheaply made, the gasket fits weird, the filter looks awfully dirty, might just be poor photography. Many filters look like this, but this is the one they went with for product pictures?
Picture for reference: filter picture

That being said, I see a lot of positive reviews and analyses backing them up, and by all means it's a great idea.

No one has them "handy" because if the test has actually been performed the results have not been published. Even their wording IRT the test is strange and tends to make you wonder if the test was performed IAW the full regimen. Maybe you can email them and get a special dispensation response with the data. That seems to be the best way to get such information, but not everyone is always so lucky to get a response.

You do? Where? A lot of them?

Myself as well as many here are not at all satisfied with what they choose to publish and release-

They dribble out bits here and there, but dont make much clear, but lay out a really big claim of 3 filter 1 sump 30K. Id never even try it dino.

We have at least one poster there that ran their regimen and it worked as claimed and is now repeating, so we have one piece of evidence it works.

Its a pretty clever device and there is no reason I can find that it wouldn't work as claimed and they have a very senior team of people running the company.

Ive used them a while now in a variety of vehicles and generators without issue, and they all looked better than that picture! that said I didn't do UOA's or follow their regimen but I did go out to 20K on two filters before I dumped the sump.

Mine have come from Mexico but some say they've seen China, but have all been pretty high quality or Id have simply trashed it and not taken the risk.

You may be getting a leg pulled, Dave. Half of this member's post are the word "DENSO." Have a quick look.

He popped in earlier in some thread. Same one word.

I'm using mine as a great 10K filter in several vehicles and it would be nice if people spoke from actual experience with the product. Also those 50% off deals do not require two filters to be purchased and on Amazon the shipping is also free for prime members. That makes the filter a few $$ under an Ultra. Not very expensive at all and they are very well built and in my used ones I noted no issues when opening them.

I'm not interested in 30K changes but with a great FS oil 20K is a piece of cake if that's what your after.

OK that works both ways - what is your experience that makes it a "great 10K filter"? At least as opposed to some other filter, say a Fram Ultra.

What exactly can you tell by experience?

I finally installed mine, replacing my M1 filter.

No noise or anything funny at start up. All is well.

I'll change it again in the springtime and maybe cut it open.

Very good post- agreed!

It's never been about the money or not wanting to get underneath the car. It's about minimizing waste.

There's nothing wrong with pushing it. Of course, there are also customers who want to change every 3,000 miles with the best (or most expensive) oil they can find, and the best filter they can find. MG would be well served to show how this is the best filter on the market, at least in their view.

I still can't help but think how great of a tie in this would be with a quality, extended drain oil, through a formal marketing arrangement.

kohnen: What you say is quite true, but that 30,000 mile thing does jump out at people, for good and for bad.
