A bypass filter is quicker, easier and cleaner to replace in my experience. Is the small amount of oil that is added every 10k to make up for the oil removed with the old filter enough to replenish the additive package? I would also like to know how long the "microfilter" is good for, it seems pretty small.
Use any brand of oil, you would think they would ask you to choose a higher quality oil to protect themselves especially if theyre the ones saying itll go 30k. Dollar general and gas stations sell oil... Like Garak said, a formal marketing arrangement would be beneficial. But since theyre from China, it might make this more difficult.
Every picture I see makes the filter look cheaply made, the gasket fits weird, the filter looks awfully dirty, might just be poor photography. Many filters look like this, but this is the one they went with for product pictures?
