If you don't, I highly suggest you get one (or more) this weekend. You never know when you'll need a back up.

Tonight I was washing my car with a fairly new 100% cotton chenille mitt (my wash weapon of choice). I didn't notice all the fresh blobs of road tar on the side of my car until it was too late. I had already swiped a few blobs with the mitt. I stopped, inspected the tar blobs before continuing the wash, and tossed out the now tar infested mitt before busting out another one.

I always have several on hand in case something like this happens. If that was my only mitt I would have had to stop washing until I could replace it. No sense in risking things with a $5.00 mitt, just buy a back up mitt or two for insurance.

Have a good weekend cleaning your cars!!

EDIT - To remove tar blobs, try something like this:

I have 4 or possibly 5. I use 2 for the nice cars and I have 2 for the beaters. When the new ones start to look bad they get moved to the beater bucket, oh 2 buckets as well. Pressure washer to knock of dirt and bugs, only for the good cars really. Sprayer full of purple power for tires and possibly bugs as well, the bugs are starting to get kind of bad already. I also have an expanded-able brush with soap dispenser that I use on the beaters much easier. Soap, water and long brush all in one is a wonderful thing if your not really worried about scratching the finish.

I've got a couple available. It's actually pretty economical as I get the Eurow mitts from Target/WalMart. Really good mitts for the money if you are willing to go through them and pic the soft ones.

Agreed. I have two of the orange "microfiber" ones from W'mart.
