If you don't, I highly suggest you get one (or more) this weekend. You never know when you'll need a back up.
Tonight I was washing my car with a fairly new 100% cotton chenille mitt (my wash weapon of choice). I didn't notice all the fresh blobs of road tar on the side of my car until it was too late. I had already swiped a few blobs with the mitt. I stopped, inspected the tar blobs before continuing the wash, and tossed out the now tar infested mitt before busting out another one.
I always have several on hand in case something like this happens. If that was my only mitt I would have had to stop washing until I could replace it. No sense in risking things with a $5.00 mitt, just buy a back up mitt or two for insurance.
Have a good weekend cleaning your cars!!
EDIT - To remove tar blobs, try something like this:
