I got me the GoPro Hero 10 today

I was wondering if anyone has it already; I understand there is a learning curve when it comes its functions but if anyone has it already, what fast tips you would suggest then comes its recording a video, photos and transferring and organizing files from it; is it user friendly perhaps

Any constructive feedback would be helpful ☺️

Great video; he goes into details, exactly what I needed; if someone else is interested, so there you go

I’ve had a 10 for 8 or 9 months. I’m not all into the techie settings and all that so I just watch some YT videos and try the settings they suggest. Usually works out good enough for me. I like how easy the app is to use now compared to the older app. This is my 4th or 5th go pro and I like it the best so far, but I saw that the 11 is released with a 11 mini. I like the smaller cams for on my helmet.

I just use it for personal stuff, I put a few vids on YT for my family and friends to see. But I’m not into spending hours editing and making ”pro videos”. Though I will say the Quik app editing does a good job for amateurs.

I like it’s size and functionality. It’s my first time to use such a camera. There upsides and downsides to it.

Downside, it’s buttons are hard to press the power on button and shutter button, it gets warm easily, battery life short, not what I was expecting it, it takes time to master all of its features and its photos are so so

Upside, it’s size and functionality. Very easy to start recording in a couple of seconds (once you get feel for its buttons), quality of 4k video and microphone capability (super clear), stabilization, wide recording angle and their app of course

That mini camera, it’s hard justify its purchase price for just $100 less than Hero 11

I got some accessories for it

You can have the top button turn on and start recording in one touch. Or you can do voice control. Just a fyi in case you weren’t aware.

I think its a good action camera for hands free. The go pro on the headband mount works very well, follows what your eyes are seeing (as long as you turn your head to look and not just moving your eyes side to side).

The stabilization is excellent. The early gen go pros had not very good stabilization and was quite jittery.

But it just doesnt have the zoom capabilities of a handheld camera. Though I just bought my wife $2000 worth of camera and accessories a couple days ago. The go pro seems like a decent deal…..lol

yes I'm pretty much familiar with its features that you mentioned

one feature that I forgot to mention above, almost one of there best features of the camera, is that you can set the time of recording at anytime hands free, for example at 6:00 AM

and yes, its pictures as a point shoot camera are so so
