Good Website For Identifying 1911 Stamped Markings

I came across this while looking for some information on the 1911. It shows a lot of information regarding serial #'s and such. Some of you guys who are into 1911's might want to save it into your favorites for later use. This is one of the better ones that I've come across.

That site is hard to look at and it was done in Frontpage 5.0, which was around the 2000 timeframe. A quarter of a century later, it's probably time to modernize it. Good information though.

Yeah, There were a couple of pictures that wouldn't enlarge for me, but overall it's worth saving if you are into 1911's.
