From what I've gathered of the ARX method (Tm), any old filter should suffice. That said, if you're going to spring for a very expensive additive to "clean" your engine, a couple of extra bucks for a decent filter seems like statistical noise. If it was me, I'd stick with whatever I normally use...a Wix filter.
I'd probably go purolator white can over Wix for the larger media area. But the ST/stp/whatever champion filter might be cheaper and will still do the job.
In my app, the 14610 the proline is a lot smaller than the purolator white can, they are otherwise identical. Your mileage may vary.
