Good diesel lubricity test

ah, the well known Diesel Place/Spicer collaboration. SWRI was the test company used, can't get any more respected than them.

They seem legit . These findings rely totally on one test - a ball bearing oscillating back and forth to create a wear scar.
Sure, it's of value, but is that the whole story?

I noticed TCW3 2 stroke oil did well - how could it not?
MMO? A slight downturn in wear.

I would have liked to see the results with gasoline, as well as diesel fuel!
 
Shall BITOG charter a test? A paper, copyrighted copy to each contributor (so it is tougher to pirate)...
