I've never known what it's like to lose a pet but I currently have a beautiful Siamese cat that I've had since I was 6 years old, and I'm now 20 years old. I know it'll be the hardest thing in the world to lose her someday, and though I know it'll happen eventually, I don't even know how to handle a situation like that. She means the absolute world to me, as strange as that sounds. Best of luck to you, my friend.
