I would have thought the Aztek would have infamous notoriety - as per the Pinto and others. I guess production will have to end for 10-20yrs before folks remember.

Seems like the one way to stump the geniuses on Jeopardy is to ask car questions.

I can think of lots of car trivia the average person wouldn't know.

I mean, come on really, who bought an Aztek.

probably most azteks were given away on game shows

From today's Detroit News:

"Just when you thought things couldn't get much worse for money-losing General Motors Corp., there's this: Contestants on a recent installment of the "Jeopardy!" quiz show couldn't name the automotive brand whose model lineup includes the Aztek and the Grand Prix. "What is Toyota?" guessed one, using the show's trademark answer-with-a-question format. "What is Mercury?" ventured another. The final player did manage to come up with a GM marque, at least -- "What is Buick?" -- albeit the wrong one. The correct question, of course, would have been, "What is Pontiac?" Looks like the world's No. 1 automaker (at least for now) better come up with some memorable models quick if it hopes to win back some of its ever-dwindling U.S. market share."

What's a Pontiac?

Oddly enough...Aztek owners ranked the vehicle very highly in JD Power surveys.

Probably convinced themselves of this after listening to endless ridicule...

Just goes to show you how really smart those people are. A basic question a 5 year old might know and they get it wrong. Makes me feel OK not knowing the queen of england in 1672.
