I need to cut down and process 3 dead ash trees which I was planning to do soon. Unfortunately the power company contracted out a company that just sprayed the vegitation around these trees with a commercial weed killer. I can only imagine it is glyphosate based. It was in a white 2.5 gallon container and they mixed it into some kind of backpack tank thing with a battery and a wand.

How long should I wait before I cut and harvest these trees?

a couple days
certainly a few weeks is long enough.

I wouldnt roll around in it naked fresh from the shower.. but for cutting a few trees.. no issues.

Triclopyr is more common on a utility right of way. They would want a chemical that will kill shrubs, scrub trees, saplings, woody vegetation, etc.
