We used to have glass filled spark plugs back in the day (wish I could find one) so you could see the color of the combustion event. Yellow is rich. Blue is lean somewhere in the middle is optimum ...

Still have them. Called color tune I got some for tuning bikes. Bought them off Amazon btw order by thread type.

That is cool. Since that is a two stroke, would think it would be running somewhat richer. I always thought the flame would be uniform, but this shows a lot of entropy.
