Glad I am still in touch with friends.

So, I was on my way home from working 2am-11am and a friend of mine that I served with back in 2003 called me. She's in Kuwait and coming home in a week. We are going to Florida to see her folks then to North Carolina. She said being over there it's a different "place" but she knows we are doing the right things. Then I chatted with a high school friend that's a first sergeant for about a hour. My female friend is a staff sergeant. Thought I would share.

Yeah, I worry about her and my high school friend as both were in the "action zone" like 11 times already. Glad they are well

I know some people have a hard on for FB. But at the age of 70 I keep in touch with 20 classmates from H.S. that are on there. I also keep in touch with others that aren't. Same with a bunch of people I worked with for 30 years.

She's like me as she doesn't have Facebook and doesn't even have a smart phone. My high school friend does have Facebook
