Getting Scheduled Tasks To Run In Windows XP?

I've scheduled a few different tasks to run in XP (Anti-Virus, Cleanup, Defrag) to run overnite, but it seems like they just will not run.

I've set everything up properly (following the “add scheduled tasks wizard”) and left computer running.

What am I missing?

I recommend that you open up "Scheduled Tasks" which may be a desktop shortcut by now. Select each task (one at a time), Right click & select "run" and see if it works. In the past, when it hasn't worked for me, it has turned out to be a password thing. Even running chkdsk on my external Jaz drive (to keep it running) must have a password on it, the same password as I use to log in after a cold boot. When I change it, it causes trouble all over again.
