Like mentioned above, not only is there an oil pressure sending unit, but a gauge on the dash, and any associated wiring and connections. Plus any reference voltage variations.
Also, maybe an oddball oil filter problem.
Did the oil change guys dry start the engine and wreck bearing clearances?
A 'real' gauge test under different circumstances is needed.
