You are correct gman2304, "was built before infrastructure". Just like electric vehicles were being built before the infrastructure and it is continuing to. At least in my area of the country. Last July 4th the MassPike shut down charging stations at all the rest areas in fear of overloading the electrical system.

I had an older guy pull out in front of me in a golf cart in a “golf cart friendly” town. The road had plenty of shoulder, but he wouldn’t get over to let me pass. I was finally able to (legally) pass and as I went by I yelled get a horse.
Come to find out, it was my great uncle. Ooops.
