I've been running GC 0W30 and then Belgian Castrol 0W30 for years in my cars, but my stash is now gone. What would be the best replacement for it?
I was in Walmart looking for oils which doesn't have "Resource Conserving" label, and that's what I found there:
Castrol Edge 0W40 made in Belgium
Castrol Edge 5W30 made in Austria
Castrol Edge 5W40 made in USA
Pennzoil Euro L 5W30 made in USA
Mobil 1 0W40 made in USA
Shell Rotella T6 5W40, 15W40 (those are popular for use in motorcycles)

Welcome to BITOG 🥳

What kind of car(s) do you have? :)

If you still want the Castrol 0w30, it is still available. Amazon carries it, and Walmart has it but only online. Some AAP stores have it.

Shell also makes their Rotella T6 in 5w30

Pennzoil Euro L is actually quite different. Their Euro 5w40 is similar to the other oils you listed.

Mobil1 0w-40 is a good choice for an application that uses a high SAPS oil with a higher HTHS viscosity, thicker than you'd find in a normal resource conserving 30 weight.

Belgian / German Castrol 0w-40 is no slouch either.

It’s at Walmart stores in Canada. Crazy.

Castrol 0W30 and 0W40 are basically the same oils base stock wise.
You can still get 0W30 at Advance Auto Parts on sale for $33 for 5qt plus filter (I got 10qt in January).

Castrol 0W40 is a bit thicker with higher HTHS than M1 0W40.

Yes, I found BC at walmart online, it's $8.37 per quart, maybe I'll buy one, since I have 3 quarts left and I need 4 for oil change in my Toyota, then I'll switch to something else, probably M1 0W40?
I found Shell Rotella Gas Truck 5w30, but it has "resource conserving" label, so I'm not going to use it.

Any A3/B4 oil. Particularly those that carry the Porsche A40 and MB 229.5 specs or in the case of 5W30 or 5W40 those that also carry BMW LL-01.
Castrol 0w40 has MB 229.5 and Porsche A40, but not BMW LL-01
Castrol 5w30 has MB 229.5 and BMW LL-01, but not A40
Castrol 5w40 has MB 229.5, BMW LL-01 and Porsche A40.
Pennzoil Euro L 5w30 has MB 229.31, 229.51 and BMW LL-04
M1 0W40 has MB 229.5 and Porsche A40, but not BMW.

Rotella Gas Truck is NOT the same as Rotella T6. The latter does not have the "resource conserving" label.

Napa has the Rotella T6 5w30 on sale this month :)

I went to AAP, and some stores have BC for $10 per quart, Amazon has nothing. Ordered 1 quart from Walmart for now at $8.37, will switch to M1 0W40 after that, I guess.
