I used Ryco filters for years. These days it's cheaper for me to order and ship a Mann (Volvos OEM) from the US than it is to go to Repco and buy a Ryco (even on sale).
I'm sure they are reasonable filters, it's just they're relatively expensive for a generic third party aftermarket.
I've used three brands on my commodore so far. First was Repco brand filter when i first bought the car then i did a filter replacement 3 months later with a genuine GM filter and now ive just serviced it again and fitted a ryco syntec (synthetic media element)
