Have a new Generac with the 816cc & hydraulic lifters. What do you guys think about using my old stash of German Castrol in it ?

How long have you had that oil around?
Fifteen plus years
That was a great oil. Very thick, almost borderline crossing into a 40wt.
I’m thinking 2005 or so. Stored in cool dry basement.
