My new neighbor gave me all his leftover generic oil and filters from his other house cause he knew I had a generic and his new one is a kholer. This was the only one not in a box, and I have a few of my own already so I cut this one open. Seems like a nice filter. The adbv was pretty hard and stiff, other than that it wasn’t bad.

Awesome. I've only cut open used ones from my Generac after servicing.

Looks great! I don't think I've seen any India made filters in a good while, but I support based on the quality of this one. Better than M+H.

I cut & posted the OE installed 070185E back in April I think but it had a few hours on it.

Was actually surprised a bit as it seemed to be made well. If only the ADBV was silicon it would make it better.

That's what I was thinking, but then again with how its mounted on the engine, and it being a generator does it really matter all that much? I was surprised at how hard it was. When I do my annual service on it next month I'll check the one that's installed on there now and see if it's as hard as this one is.
