Hello,

I'm looking at building a stash of LL-01 oils ...

GC 0w30
M1 0w40 ( I'm using it right now car is a bit noisy with this )
Motul 5w30 X-max ( discontinued but I still can get some )
BMW 5w30
Amsoil 5w40 Euro Formula - I'm big fan of Amsoil but for some reason this oil doesn't appeal to me.
Fuchs GT1

I would prefer something Ester or PAO not group III

Any other choices ?

Thx

Another option is the QS/Pennzoil 5W40. The QS variety was/is available pretty cheap at Big Lots. The PZ is tough to get/expensive. I believe they're the exact same oil.

I used GC and M10W40 extensively in the past, and I consumed a little less of the GC (in a car that loved to drink oil). But they were both fine, and the UOA's both were pretty similar--no problem doing 10K in a high-boosted engine.

Quaker State Q® European Engine Formulation Ultra Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5w30 meets the LL-01 specification. Not sure if it's available in the US since it's not on the SOPUS Quaker State web site.
