I had my garage door adjusted and lubed the other day. The worker sprayed some lubrication on the spiral springs above the door as well as the door hinges/rollers.

Re-lubricate the garage door opener rail. Using a clean rag, wipe away existing lubrication from the center rail and reapply a small layer of lubrication. We recommend using a white lithium based grease for all lubrication purposes.
For those who don't have this system, there's a toothed belt the runs parallel to a T cross-section rail that runs from the opener to near the door. A shuttle runs along it that pulls up the door. Lubing that interface (while being careful not to get lube on the nearby toothed belt) is essential to keeping my 2 decade old door opener motor happy.
