G-Oil

Yes but viscosity differences between oils will be consistenly reflected in different engines.

There are a number of possible explanations for the different experiences between Daryle and tj90 with what preportedly is the same oil including Daryle possibly getting a bad batch.
GET is afterall a small blender. Years ago I got some bad oil from a major Canadian oil company. I got a free case of oil out of it so I know it definately happens.

At the very least it shows the value of having an oil pressure gauge.

Not enough feedback in the previous posts?

Nope...that's why I asked.

5w30 vs 15w40, you got 10 cst vs 14 at operating temp. Maybe you van just prefers 40 weight oils?

It certainly like a thicker oil. The heavy side of the 30wt spec seems fine. It was very happy with Rotella T1 SAE30 also. I just happened to have 6QTs of the Royal Purple 15w40. I figure I'll keep using my current 30wt oil.
