This may be old news for you, but for me, I was just noticing Auto Trak II is now in the recommended replacement fluid list on product information sheet. So, I reached out to Valvoline asking for calrification. Here's the response I got:
Great news for me as it cut the cost of fluid replacement down significantly.
Since most of information posted online says to use GM Auto Trak II only or Multi-transfer case fluid only, I think it is a good idea to let others know we have a new option for a while now.

I'm coming up on time to change my transfer case fluid again and trying to decide what to get. Auto trak 2 fluid is not commonly available near me, so I'd be going to the dealership for it. Last 2 changes have been Valvoline multi vehicle transfer case fluid which is "recommended" for auto trak 2 applications. It seemed to work fine.
I'm considering Amsoil because i like the squeeze bags for refilling easier out in my driveway. It seems like Amsoil recommends their universal ATF for this application....so I assume it's safe to use instead of auto trak 2? I never use auto mode anyway if...
