FUZION ZR1 TIRES QUES?

As far as i know theyre bridgestone/firestone tires and people mention traits about it that would indicate one of the harder tread compounds out there ie. markedly poor cold performance, road noise, bump transfer. They would last long though

my friend has them on the front of his 383 powered 94 Impala SS. his only comment is the sidewall doesn't seem to be stiff enough compared to his old Bridgestones (275/40/17). Other than that he was pleased for what he paid.

I had them. They were a good performing tire in my VW 1.8T. I didn't get them again because as they wore, they got quite loud, but not as loud as the Michelin Pilot Sport tires that came on my car. ZR1 tires give good bang for the buck.

235/45R17. My two complaints are noise and tramlining. I like the sidewall stiffness and resistance to hydroplaning. Traction is good wet and dry and, so far, wear is good (I guess that I am not down to the softer compound in the Uni-T construction). This is the third season I've had them and I haven't seen any excessive wear (only down 2-3/32nds and I check it when I put them on and take them off). I got dedicated snow tires so I am guessing I have about 18K miles on the ZRis.

I think on these high performance, small sidewall tires, the noise issue is a given. Since there isn't a lot of margin there to cushion any noise once wear has begun.
