Pictures to follow. Well, I was at a staff party the other day and one of my buddies rolls up in an red 1995 F250. He is a Ford guy and is currently running a 2019 F350.

So he got wind of an old, local farmer that had a garaged F250. Its a nice, straight long box extended cab, 7.3, 4x4 and 5 speed manual and 4.10 geared. It is in great shape for having 227,xxx km. The ac blows colder than the 2019 F350, it shifts buttery smooth, really good ride for its age, straight body with a small rust hole behind the front drivers side wheel arch.

Anyway, took it for a rip in town and on the highway. It runs great, decent amount of power and very responsive. I have not driven manual in many years, least of which was a 4.10 geared diesel but it sure made driving easy. Just left out the clutch with no throttle input and she takes off without any drama.

I sure like the older trucks!

Word. Built Ford Tough.

(lol !!! no fanboyism, just kidding around. Sounds like a cool old truck though !!)

I am no Ford fan by any stretch but it was a nice truck. Without a doubt the original owner took care of it. Some of the clear coat was starting to peel but otherwise it was just a solid, decent riding truck. And yes, it would just roll off the line with no throttle input at all. Could not believe how easy it was to drive!

That should be a ZF S5-47 in either a close or wide ratio. Probably close ratio in the 250, which would give you a 5.08:1 1st gear.
