Fumoto valve - tightening

You might be thinking of the other quick-drain things. Fumoto valves have a reputation going back 20+ years and they feel like a very, very well-made product.

If it were in an application that required constant opening and closing I'd think it could possibly develop a leak, but this is a valve that you will probably open/close at most 100 times over the life of the valve.

And as a valves go, a ball is an excellent valve, a gate is good and a globe is just OK.
