I installed a Fumoto valve on my 2009 Chrysler T&C. With it snugged up, the valve is upside down. Will removing it and re- installing it put it right side up? Or will the threads always start in the same position?

Most likely it will be the same...Just turn I bit more, or if its tight back it off a bit..The washer has a lot of "crush"
I used two crush washers on the install. The blue one and a metal crush washer.
If tightened to the same torque, the Valve will always be in the same location.
Solution:
Measure the Pitch Thread distance (distance from one thread point to another).
Divide by 2 and add a washer that thick.
That would put the valve at 180 degrees to where it is now.
Example: Using 1/2"x16 thread
*) 1 inch divided by 16 equals .062"
*) .062" divided by 2 equals .031"
*) So, adding .031 to Washer thickness would turn the Valve 180 degrees.
Try and only use one washer to reduce the chance of leaks.

With it upside down, the lift lever is below the drain hole, which allows oil to get on my hands. Thus, defeating the purpose of the valve. I will install an additional crush washer.
Yes, I wish I would have gotten the version with the nipple. Upside down wouldnt be a problem!
Every one I use has the nipple. Very easy way to drain engine oil.
