Thinking about putting a fumoto f137s on my 2024 silverado 2500 l8t gas. Never used one. Can I trust it? Mostly on road driving. Once in a while cross a cut corn or soybean field to get a deer. No real off loading. This is what the underneath of the truck looks like. Drain plug pretty far up and out of the way. What are your thoughts? A motorcycle crash 3 years ago screwed my right shoulder up so I'm pretty much left handed now. Trying to not have oil all over me and the driveway as usual.

I love my FV on a 2024 Rav4 Prime XSE. I have the newer version that rotates 360 degrees to find the right drain angle. I only have 36,000+ on it and have done 7 oil changes with it. If you get UOA it's a breeze to shoot it in the sample bottle and control the flow rate with the lever. No leaks or drips and unless I sell the vehicle it's staying on.

I have used Fumoto on 3 Subaru vehicles where the drain plug is in a recessed area.

In your situation I with it sticking out the way it does, I would go with a Valvomax. That's what I installed on my F250 PSD.

I have a Fumoto on a RX330 and a Valvomax on a Ford. Valvomax makes much more sense on the Ford since the drain plug is aimed horizontal. Better to use the hose the Valvomax comes with.

I am happy with both my valves.
