I am doing it more for the cleanliness part. I also will probably buy a 10th generation Honda Civic next time when I decide to get rid of this one. The parts are interchangeable and I can take it with me to the next vehicle. I hope to tuck the plastic hose under the aluminum pan and it should be pretty easy to change the oil.Is the main point of these to make it easier to change the oil? I could see if someone was using one on a track car that never saw stumps or rocks and where one might be more inclined to change oil on a very frequent basis. For Joe-six-pack doing oil changes a couple times a year, is removing a bolt that much of a deal to change the oil? Or is it more of a cleanliness matter in how the oil is drained and contained?
