I have a 2007 Dodge Ram with a 3.7 V6. With a little over 120,000 miles. The plugs have recently been changed due to a slight misfire with no warning lights. I was told one injector was not pulsing when the mechanic checked it out, but recommended cleaning the injectors. It is working properly at the moment. Is it worth cleaning at this mileage or replacing? If replacing what brand? I see Bosch is cheaper than OEM Mopar branded units, but I’m not sure if flow rates etc are the same.

I have run top tier fuel only in the last 8000 miles or so. Would the fuel injector cleaner affect the new spark plugs?

For the price of new Bosch units I would try the Redline, Techron first if the issue returns put the Bosch in it at $30ea you cant go wrong.
If dosed to directions there should be no issues with plug fouling using the mentioned cleaners..
I will try the injector cleaner first. If I do end up needing to replace them, would the Bosch replacements from rock auto perform the same as the OEM branded Mopars? Thanks

If he checked the injector with a NOID checker either the solenoid is bad or going bad or there is a wiring problem (not likely). Never, ever, anything Bosch.

The OE are either Bosch or Siemens, the Bosch are the best. Bosch has less than 1 in a million failure rate with their new injectors and are one of the best on the market. It is very rare I get a bad one when servicing them even the ones with almost half a million miles on them are still working fine. The original Timex of fuel injectors I say.

My good friend Frank (demarpaint) put these injectors in his wife's 3.7 and is well satisfied with them. His OE were Siemens IIRC and they are not a good injectors in this style, lots of problems from coil failures to body cracking.

I like this YouTuber, but here I would observe that 1) he does not mention Techron, which is my go-to, and 2) his milage intervals are 3,000-5,000 mi. That's way more than I would ever do. But I don't run a parts department, do I? 🤣

oilstudent24, you might consider sending the injectors out for cleaning and balancing (making sure all injectors spray the same mount of gas). RC Injectors (https://www.rcfuelinjection.com/) is the go to shop for many techs.
If the Bosch are $30 an injector why bother with cleaning.? Just get new ones if Redline or Techtron injector cleaner does not work.
