Front dual piston caliper question

if one of the dual piston is slightly less compressed than the other one maybe by like 5mm will both piston make even contact once i pump my brakes during normal use?
 
They absolutely should, yes, unless one is stuck/sticky.
Thanks, this is my first time changing my caliper/rotor, went to do a brake bleed and noticed my front driver was leaking, turn out my speed bleed screw was not tight, i end up taking out the caliper to check for leak and noticed one was slightly raised but it did go back in with the pad okay.
 
lots of vids on line + be sure your brake caliper guide pins are fully functional + a clean + lube with syl-glide will assure this!
 
These help to clean the pin bores up if there is a little rust. Not too much just a couple of passes will do the wash out with brake cleaner.

This is an 8mm example choose the size by pin diameter.
