Free Fram filter at Canadian Tire

I know, I know. But, if you buy a 4 litre jug of Castrol GTX at Canadian Tire this week, they throw in a Fram Extra Guard filter for free.

Yes m'am, it's all my WIFES fault, SHE got the wrong kind of filter..you know, just got the first one she saw..RECEIPT? She just throws them away- she NEVER KEEPS THEM! So I'll just return it and get the right one,,,or can I just get cash back maybe?

Rats, I just bought a FRAM there last week and haven't used it yet. I wish I had something that burned GTX but I haven't seen the 15w40 in stock here. If I did I'd return the filter and then buy it back with the oil.

The Walmarts in Canada don't sell Supertech filters, only Fram.

NAPA has a special - 5 litres of Castrol GTX 5W30 or 10W30, plus a NAPA oil filter (one below Gold), for Cdn$15.95 until early August.

If you dont extend your drains to far out, I would never consider not using it, it was free, and they work perfectly fine. If your extending your drain intervals like past 5k, then maybe you wouldnt want to.

Know how many of us used frams before they were reveiled as horrible filters? The cars are still runnings fine.
