Now I feel stupid but I got a question for you all. Say with this wide pleat spacing like was on this filter. Would those pleats get saturated with debree first before the rest of the pleats or would it stay pretty even throughout the filter

This is the New Ultra that does not have Wire Backing, the old Ultra would look perfect at 5K, 10K, 15K, and 20K.

I will not push it any further than 20K, meaning the old Ultra!
Sorry I thought it was a new ultra but I just tore into the pleats with a pair of pliers and it's the old style with wire backing

Yeah I guess I got ahead of myself there. I cut a few ultras open in the past and I never saw that many wide pleats or glue coming off the end caps before but it actually wasn't torn. I guess the wire backing did its job. Sorry fram I didn't mean mean to throw you to the curb

Filter has 5000 miles on it. 95 Ford f250. 199.000 miles. 5.8l . I always used fram ultras for the most part or the fram titanium. From now on it will definitely not be another fram ultra. Torn media. Glue separating from the medal end cap. And the widest pleat spacing I ever seen in a filter. It's the new ultra. Can was good. Baseplate was good. Valve was good but sorry fram that filter isnt what it used to be
Nice photos. Glad I bought some CAT filters that TomCruise uses for my Focus. I have an ne Fram Wndurance too

If my post is confusing to many people just take it down. I feel bad that I didn't put my glasses on and screwed this post up.
