This is the New Ultra that does not have Wire Backing, the old Ultra would look perfect at 5K, 10K, 15K, and 20K.Isn't this the old Ultra?
I will not push it any further than 20K, meaning the old Ultra!

Might want to edit post #1 too ... it makes a statement of "torn media" ... when later it's confirmed there isn't any.I changed the title to reflect the findings.
Nice photos. Glad I bought some CAT filters that TomCruise uses for my Focus. I have an ne Fram Wndurance tooFilter has 5000 miles on it. 95 Ford f250. 199.000 miles. 5.8l . I always used fram ultras for the most part or the fram titanium. From now on it will definitely not be another fram ultra. Torn media. Glue separating from the medal end cap. And the widest pleat spacing I ever seen in a filter. It's the new ultra. Can was good. Baseplate was good. Valve was good but sorry fram that filter isnt what it used to be
Nooo it is impossible for the wire backed Fram Ultra to have any kind of problems, it is the most purest, precious best built oil filter in the existence of mankind.OP verified it was wire backed.
Yes, we have to be careful to present our findings with some accuracy.Might want to edit post #1 too ... it makes a statement of "torn media" ... when later it's confirmed there isn't any.
I looked at his original post that said it was not WireBacked and so I looked at the rest of the thread and saw where he said the oil filter was WireBacked.OP verified it was wire backed.
Yes it's the old fram with wire backing. Didn't realize it until I just tore into it with pliersIsn't this the old Ultra?
