This just came off my 2023 Colorado ZR2. 4,200 miles on it with QS FS 5w-30. Appears to be made by Champ. No complaints.

I can't recall seeing a Champ Labs made Ultra before. Guess it shouldn't be surprising as there have been some Champ Labs made Orange Can posted in the past. 4200 miles, pleating does look better than many of the posted Fram made. I can't make out date code, 22350? Imo, good it still has the outer baseplate. Looks fine.

Thanks for c&p.

That's a good looking filter, especially without a wire backing. I have one of these laying around for my 3.0 Duramax, but was hesitant to use it when I saw the inside after getting it home and getting the tape off of the box.

Looks like I'll use it now.

Looks good! I'd be curious if that was actually 99% @ 30 vs 99% at 20?
This ultra also dosent have the black grippy layer on top. Did they just take a champ xl and give it an ultra paint job? Would still be an upgrade in my book but, oh boy oh boy!
Supertech MP becoming the new ultra?lol

look like?

That would be my guess too. If they used the XL then it could be the 99% at 20 compared to the MP line up.

Even a turd should look good at 4200 miles.
See what Fram did to us?
They dumbed us down.
4200 miles is the new 25k. And you should be thrilled.

You bring up a good point, my Young Apprentice, LOL.
Let's get serious, how would this Oil Filter look at 10K, 15K, or 20K

Is Fram going to do the Ecore Thing on all of their Oil Filters?

An Ecore Ultra? Wonder if it even has the sprayed-on synthetic media?? Or is it a CHAMP XL at an Ultra price…
If I was crazy enough to buy a non-wire backed Ecore Ultra, it better be dirt cheap!
