Old gen Ultra 3600, came off a 2017 VW Jetta TSI 1.4 liter engine. 10k mile on the filter, 130k miles on the car.

Oil used was Quaker State 5W-40 Euro, I put a Mobil 1 M1-205A back on and some Total Quartz 5W-40 Euro oil.

Pretty clean for a 130k direct injected engine. Couldn't make out the date of manufacture, but I believe it was around 2015.

The GOAT of oil filters, sure glad I prepper stashed Titanium version of these a while back. Even cutting open one myself these are a delight to look at, unfortunately they're really well built to pull apart to inspect the media. A razor blade just won't do on these.
Thanks for posting.

Nice, was that the M1 filter I sent you?

Filter looks amazing thank you and great pictures.

I have that same Oil Filter on my Dad's Car; he insists on 3000-mile OCI's with whatever synthetic oil he buys. This Old-Style Fram Ultra is staying on there for 20,000 miles. It has 2, I only have 1 old style left, I cannot waste it.

Awesome, as always! I still have bunch of OG XG3600s of both Ultras & Titaniums left, if the cans were thicker & less rust prone they could last the life of the engine!
