Fram Ultra XG2, HPL 5w-40, 1.2k mi C&P

Until @Panda87 tells us otherwise, the leaf spring may have been in so securely mounted he had to take a chisel to get it off to take pictures, so we're seeing chisel marks, not substandard manufacturing. /sarcasm
No chisel, just pure unadulterated strength! When I was a lot fatter and stronger, I could pull 505lbs off the floor a few times. I sometimes believe in my head I’m still that strong. My wife employs me often for jar opening duty tho 🤷🏻‍♂️ 😆

My last UOA showed quite a bit of abrasive wear. I’m beginning to suspect it’s related to the amount of material being liberated internally.
That's why it's important that the oil filter catches everything it can on the first time through, and not let any debris leak past and go around again through the engine.

Agreed 1000%. It’s one of the driving factors behind my purchase and install of the Amsoil dual bypass system. I’m trying to further minimize the amount of any of that going around. Being able to use a MUCH larger full flow filter is also a hope of mine that I’ll be able to capture more of those carbon/abrasive bits. Here’s to hope. 🍻

Here’s the date code (I think) if it helps. I don’t know how to decipher it. Matches all the other XG2s I have on hand from the same shipment. I couldn’t find any other printed data on the can.
