Not doubting it would do it but I'd burn through at least 2 quarts of oil over 15k. I don't mind adding 0.75-1 quart over the interval & since I do sample I just don't want to throw off the results with new oil too much. I have seen where It doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference though on UOA. I think I might try to push it to 10k this next time since most of the mileage, this interval, should be over the warmer months.I would say 20K but maybe play it safe and stay with 15K.
There was some soot but it wasn't terrible & only very few metal sparkles. I do mostly all, like 90+%, highway miles.Unless it’s my eyes I don’t see any gunk in pleats. Win win![]()
