Fram Ultra XG10060 Cut Open 5000 Miles

This Filter was ran for 5000 Miles on my father's 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500hd with the 6.0. The oil used was Valvoline Advaned Full Synthetic 5w30. Same oil & filter reinstalled. Note the mesh isn't actually metal believe it or not and a louvered center tube also.

Strange ... maybe one made by someone else for Fram perhaps? Date code shows it was made 26th (?) day of 2021.

I’ve got one on my 22’ Ram that will be coming off in a hundred or so miles. It’s also an older Ultra that I bought for my daughters Jeep but she traded it before the change. I’ll cut and post it so we can compare them.
