Fram Ultra XG10060 5000 miles use

Agree. The bypass in the 10575 was specifically changed for the 2014 and up Chevy LS engines with the variable flow oil pumps.
And that filter is also still specified for many other vehicles that used it before the bypass pressure was increased. So the higher bypass valve setting isn't changing its applications. Go to Fram's website and hit the application tab to see all the vehicles it's speced for.

On the other hand Fram issued this bulletin for certain Chryslers to stop using the 10575 because of the change and to use the 10060 which has a lower bypass pressure.

No -40 cold starts in western WA. Coldest I've ever seen it here is about 10 degrees or so and that is -very- rare in my area. Screw that, couldn't pay me to live in a place that gets that cold. Every bone in my body was aching back in January working outside in that extreme cold snap we had. The heaters in the yard trucks at work couldn't keep up at all and half of the trucks wouldn't even build air pressure...junk!

Just had a brain fart, that 10575 size cross references to the PXL57502 I put on it.

They must have relatively wimpy pumps with a low pressure relief setting. Still lots of vehicles in Fram's application list that can handle the increase in the filter bypass setting when they changed the 10575 bypass.
